PT. Asiadrill Bara Utama (Asiadrill) was incorporated on 29 January 1997, to service the rapidly expanding Indonesian mining sector.

Asiadrill commenced operations by purchasing a Bournedrill 1000R drilling rig and being awarded a drilling contract at a mine site in South Kalimantan.

From this single rig commencement, Asiadrill has grown organically into a company which now owns fourteen drilling rigs that can drill to varying depths of between one hundred to seven hundred metres of HQ (96mm) sized hole.  Complementing these rigs are our suite of ultra portable rigs that can drill between sixty and eighty metres of NQ (76mm) sized hole.

Asiadrill's sister companies are also able to provide geological labour supply, geological mapping services, 3D geological modelling services, as well as down hole geophysical logging services.  Therefore offering a complete suite of exploration services to suit the needs of most clients.
